Lenora Explorations makes new discovery

Lenora Explorations (len:tse) has announced that surface exploration diamond drilling has resulted in a new gold discovery on its Golden Harker project, located in Harker and Holloway twps., Ont.

Indications are that the discovery, located some 500 ft west of the existing ore zone and underground exploration target, could have important tonnage implications for the project.

The latest in a series of five drill holes returned 0.172 oz gold per ton over 38.9 ft, including 0.203 oz over 26.4 ft.

The discovery has been tested over a strike length of 425 ft and to a depth of 300 ft, the company says, and is located in an altered and silicified porphyry where it intrudes the Harker main mineralized zone.
