Lenora drills Rickard project

Encouraging results have been returned from drilling of the Rickard Twp. property about 40 miles east of the Kidd Creek mine at Timmins, Ont., Greater Lenora Resources (TSE) says.

The four holes returned widespread zinc and lead mineralization in association with pyrite and pyrrhotite sulphides, and anomalous stringer zone copper is contained in the chlorite and silification alteration zone, the company reports.

Meanwhile, Lenora says kimberlite indicator minerals have been identified at its Eby Twp. property near Kirkland Lake, Ont.

Previous reverse circulation drilling in search of gold values turned up the kimberlite indicator minerals on the western portion of the property, the company says. Kimberlite is the host material for diamonds.

A discovery of micro-diamonds was recently announced in the Larder Lake area, east of Kirkland Lake.
