Legacy Petroleum has announced an agreement in principle whereby

Resources can earn an 80% working interest in four placer platinum and gold mining leases in the Granite Creek area near Princeton, B.C. To earn the interest, Catear must spend $250,000 on the property by the end of 1988. The ground has been mined intermittently for more than 70 years. Legacy will retain a carried 20% working interest which Catear has the right to purchase for $500,000 by the end of 1987.
