A sampling program by Sur American Gold (SUR-V) has resulted in a gold-silver discovery within siliceous sinters at the company’s 100%-owned Gavia project in western Colombia. The sinters occur as boulders in the main creek draining the project.
The Vancouver-based junior reports that initial assays from a sampling program revealed values of about 4.5 grams gold and 60 grams silver per tonne. Trace concentrations of copper, arsenic, antimony and mercury in the epithermal target were also reported.
