LATIN AMERICA — Procoloro updates Yurani resources

Val d’Or, Que.-based Procoloro Resources (PCH-M) has updated the resource estimates for its Yurani gold mine, in northwestern Colombia.

Kilborn-SNC-Lavalin has calculated indicated and inferred resources of 521,000 tonnes grading at least 10 grams gold per tonne, with a potential resource of 864,000 tonnes of at least 10 grams gold.

The Yurani mine currently produces at an annual rate of 15,000 oz. using a 100-tonne-per-day mill. Procoloro holds a 64% interest in the mine, with the remainder held by private Colombian interests.

This year, Procoloro plans to drill 2,800 metres.
