LATIN AMERICA — NEWS ROUNDUP — High American drills in Argentina

High American Gold (HIAM-C) has completed two diamond holes at its Oesteroche property in northwestern Argentina.

The holes were sunk near a tourmaline breccia pipe following the recovery of soil and rock samples high in gold content. Hole 1, drilled over 159.7 metres, was collared in granite gneiss and intersected four breccia bodies with a total length of 53 metres. The hole also returned evidence of sulphides and chalcocite. Assay results for this and a second hole, drilled nearby, are pending.
