LATIN AMERICA — LatinGold plans more work for Pinguicos

Toronto-based LatinGold (LAT-T) plans to carry out a follow-up drill program at the Pinguicos property near Guanajuato city in central Mexico. The gold-silver project is adjacent to Penole’s Las Torres mine.

LatinGold recently completed a 14-hole, reverse-circulation drill program that tested four targets on the property. Assay results from three of the four areas were deemed insignificant. However, hole 6, drilled to test the strike and dip projections of the Central Fault system, intersected a 9-metre interval assaying 1.4 grams gold and 27 grams silver per tonne, of which 3 metres assayed 4.1 grams gold and 79 grams silver.

LatinGold says this target area warrants further work, particularly at depth on the Central Fault system.
