A 4-day mining conference focusing on “Investing in the Americas” attracted 500-600 delegates to this southern U.S. city recently.
Speakers from the various nations of Latin America, from Mexico to Chile, explained the mining potential of their countries.
Companies represented included TVX Gold, Placer Dome, Bema Gold, Cambior, Golden Star Resources, Jordex Resources, International Mahogany, International Musto Exploration, Greenstone Resources, Battle Mountain Gold, Coeur d’Alene Mines and Niugini Mining.
