LATIN AMERICA — Cerro Samenta dispute settled

A recently signed agreement between Mansfield Minerals (MDR-V) and Corriente Resources (CTG-T) has marked the end of a legal dispute over ownership of the Cerro Samenta copper property in Argentina.

The terms call for Corriente and its Argentine subsidiary to provide Mansfield with a written release of all matters related to the dispute in return for 150,000 Mansfield shares. Corriente will also terminate all litigation related to the matter in both Argentina and Canada, and transfer nine property units contiguous with Cerro Samenta to Mansfield’s Argentine subsidiary.
