Montreal-based Exploration Brex (BX-M) has annexed a property adjacent to its Eping-Perenong diamond property on the Mazaruni River in northwestern Guyana.
The 104-sq.-km property is being purchased for US$10,000 and 200,000 Brex shares, and the company has committed to a US$150,000 work program. The vendor retains a 2% royalty on net revenue, which Brex can buy out for US$350,000. The Guyanese government receives a 5% royalty on all mineral production in the country.
Also, Brex plans to carry out diamond drilling at its Aremu gold property in central Guyana, where trenching is under way.
