Generally disappointing assay results were received from the drilling of five separate target areas on the gold project of Monte Carlo Gold Mines (ASE) and Auromar Development (VSE) on the Caribbean island of Aruba.
Mainly low-grade intersections were encountered. One intercept from the Arikok target returned 0.32 oz. gold per ton but the rest of the veined intercepts were generally less than 0.02 oz., the companies say.
