Drills are turning on the Greenstone Belt properties, under option to Treminco Resources (TSE). Seven holes, totaling 5,200 ft., have been drilled to date.
The company is testing five separate shear zones, 30 miles north of Yellowknife, N.W.T.
So far, results have returned wide shear zone intersections, ranging from 50 to 290 ft., two of which feature visible gold.
Treminco is acquiring the properties from Hemlo Gold Mines (TSE) by spending $2 million, while the latter retains the right to back-in for a half interest.
