LAST BUT NOT LEAST — Pacific Rim drilling in Argentina

Geophysical and geochemical work is set to begin at the Diablillos gold-silver project in northwestern Argentina.

Pacific Rim Mining (VSE), which can acquire the property, notes that it has never been exposed to modern geophysics and that only limited geochemical work has been carried out.

More than 70% of the property is covered by shallow overburden and the company expects to develop new drill targets.

Earlier this year, confirmation drilling on the Oculto zone returned a 326-ft. intersection grading 0.12 oz. gold and 25.6 oz. silver per ton. As a result, the company believes it can confirm and upgrade previous reverse circulation drilling by BHP Minerals, which outlined a preliminary resource of 4.5 million tons grading 0.07 oz. gold and 4.1 oz. silver. In June, Pacific Rim expects to begin drilling on known zones, as well as on any newly discovered targets.

The property is situated in Salta province.
