LAST BUT NOT LEAST — Lac options Matheson area play

Lac North America, a unit of Lac Minerals (TSE), has optioned a 179-claim property southwest of Matheson, Ont., from Glen Auden Resources (TSE).

Lac can earn a 60% interest in the Timmins and Michie Twp. property by spending $700,000 on exploration over four years and paying $60,000 cash. The property covers a 900-ft.-wide sericite schist zone which contains green mica and pyrite. A grab sample of sericite schist from an outcrop, near the western property boundary with East West Resources (VSE), yielded 0.11 oz. gold per ton.
