LAST BUT NOT LEAST … Joint venture to rehabilitate Cassiar

Black Hills Minerals, Minpro and Cliff Resources (TSE) have jointly acquired a 6-month option to treat chrysotile asbestos tailings dumps and rehabilitate the old Cassiar Mining site in Cassiar, B.C.

They have also acquired rights to several assets and properties of Cassiar Mining, which went into receivership in early 1992.

The group is completing a feasibility study and equipment has been purchased to treat the tailings.

Cliff has an overriding royalty and holds a 30% interest in the project. Black Hill owns 20% and Minpro, the balance.
