LAST BUT NOT LEAST — Drilling planned for Golden Quail

Drilling on the Golden Quail property in San Bernardino Cty., Calif., is to begin shortly.

Joint-venture partners Golden Quail Resources and Golden Hemlock Resources (VSE) have received permits for 105 new sites on the property. The program will test a known 1,200-ft.-long gold zone for extensions to the south, southeast and southwest, with stepouts of up to 2,000 ft. from the southern end of the structure.

The zone consists of a series of multiple shear structures. Drilling last year returned 105 ft. in Hole 92-1 grading 0.074 oz. gold, and 130 ft. grading 0.067 oz. gold in Hole 92-2.
