A summer exploration program has begun on the Fer polymetallic property near Flin Flon, Man., belonging to Canmine Resources (CDN).
The $200,000 program will include line-cutting, surface transient electro-magnetic and downhole geophysical surveys, geological mapping and diamond drilling. The work will concentrate on portions which comprise about half of Canmine’s 17-sq.-mile position.
Previous drilling returned values up to 6.36% zinc, 1.14% copper and 0.3 oz. silver per ton over 8.5 ft.
Three drill targets have already been identified, Canmine reports.
