LAST BUT NOT LEASE — La Teko active in Alaska

Drill results from the True North property in Alaska continue to provide encouragement.

La Teko Resources (VSE) reports that proven and probable reserves stand at 120,000 oz. It is hoped that, by the end of the 1994 program, these will increase to 300,000 oz.

The Hindenburg orebody appears to be trough-shaped, 600 ft. wide by 2,000 ft. long and 50 ft. thick.

By the end of June, 45 holes had been drilled, totaling 12,055 ft. More than 90% of the holes hit gold mineralization, including 22 holes which had intercepts greater than 0.12 oz. gold per ton over 25 ft. The best intersections were 0.25 oz. over 45 ft., 0.10 oz. over 85 ft. and 0.13 oz. over 70 ft.

The company plans to carry out 50,000 ft. of reverse circulation drilling, along with 2,000 ft. of diamond drilling, trenching and extensive soil sampling.

On the Ryan Lode project, also in Alaska, La Teko is conducting drilling, re-assaying and environmental base-line studies in the hope of increasing proven and probable reserves to more than 1 million oz. from 822,200 oz. La Teko is seeking a partner or, alternatively, a company to acquire these properties outright.
