The Spanish government has granted
Situated in the country’s southwestern region, the 80-sq.-km concession is near the Rio Tinto, Concepcion, Aguas Tenidas and Las Zarza volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) mines.
Exploration to date has outlined four VMS targets, and Orvana is in discussions with potential partners to provide funding for more work. Plans call for additional mapping and sampling and at least eight drill holes to an average depth of 500 metres. The estimated cost is US$500,000.
