LABRADOR NEWS ROUNDUP — Sulphides found at VBE-1 claims

Field crews on the VBE-1 claim group in the Voisey Bay region of Labrador have turned up disseminated and bleb-type pyrite, pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite mineralization in anorthosite bedrock.

Columbia Yukon Resources, soon to be listed on the VSE, can earn a half interest in the property from International CanAlaska Resources (VSE). The claims are adjacent to, and east of, Diamond Fields’ nickel-cobalt discovery.

Columbia can earn a further 20% by funding the property through to production.

Samples are being analyzed, and geophysical surveys and trenching will be carried out to assess the mineralization further.
