LABRADOR NEWS ROUNDUP — NDT, Takla Star bet on Lucky 44

Partners NDT Ventures (VSE) and Takla Star Resources (ASE) are set to begin drilling on Project 44 in Labrador.

A minimum of eight holes will test an airborne electromagnetic anomaly and coincident magnetic signature extending over 2,500 metres.

Gossanous pyroxenite, leuconorite and gneissic outcrops along the anomaly yielded surface sample grades of up to 1.28% nickel, 1.34% copper and 0.16% cobalt. Thirty-five highly weathered gossan samples returned an average grade of 0.6% nickel, 0.31% copper and 0.083% cobalt.

Mapping and ground geophysics will be applied to a second geophysical anomaly, 1,000 metres to the north, in an effort to define drill targets.

Sampling on a gossan coincident with the anomaly returned up to 0.58% nickel, 1% copper and 0.072% cobalt.
