Drilling on the Tasisuak Lake property, 50 km northwest of Voisey Bay, Labrador, is returning nickel-copper values for Consolidated Magna Ventures (VSE) and Consolidated Viscount Resources (VSE).
The partners report that two drill holes on the C zone intersected a gabbro dyke mineralized with disseminated to semi-massive sulphides.
Hole TL2 intersected 3.72 metres grading 0.72% nickel, 0.38% copper and 0.02% cobalt. Hole TL3 returned a 23.7-metre intersection grading 0.47% nickel, 0.16% copper and 0.02% cobalt, including a 5.23-metre interval grading 1.15% nickel, 0.42% copper and 0.04% cobalt.
The holes are spaced 600 metres apart and encountered the C zone at a vertical depth of about 15 metres.
The joint venture reports that the C zone dyke has been traced in outcrop and by magnetic surveys for about 2 km.
Further drilling is planned, with the next hole targeted 50 metres south of hole TL5.
