LABRADOR NEWS ROUNDUP — Columbia Yukon completes sampling

Partners Columbia Yukon Resources (ASE) and Yanks Peak Resources (VSE) have completed the first phase of airborne geophysics and ground sampling over two claim blocks in Labrador.

Initial sampling on the 100-claim block No. 2766, in the Harp Lake area, returned values of up to 0.74% nickel and 0.083% cobalt. Additional assays for platinum group minerals are pending.

The Yaco 1 claim block, 7 km south of Diamond Fields’ discovery property, hosts two large gossans. The structures have been samples, with results pending.

Yanks Peak owns 85% of these claims, with the remaining interest held by Columbia Yukon. Columbia can earn an additional 35% interest by spending $500,000 over the next two years.
