Reconnaissance exploration on the Konrad property, west of Voisey Bay, Labrador, has led to the identification of a north-south-trending gossan zone.
International CanAlaska Resources (VSE) traced the structure on surface for a distance of 2 km, with the width estimated at 50 metres.
Within the zone area, massive residual sulphide-gossan mineralization up to 5 metres thick is reported. Results from an airborne survey over the area are pending.
Follow-up work will include geological mapping, a ground
electromagnetic-magnetic survey, trenching and geochemical sampling.
The property is 35 km west of the Voisey Bay discovery.
