Partners International Butec Industries (VSE) and Troymin Resources (VSE) have acquired an option on a 170-sq.-km property in Labrador.
The property contains three known concentrations of massive sulphide mineralization defined by work done in the 1960s and 1970s. One of the “concentrations” contains an estimated 18 million tonnes grading 0.6% copper and 0.2% nickel, with platinum, palladium and gold values.
The property also hosts untested geophysical and geochemical anomalies. Terms of the option require the issuance of shares, cash payments and work commitments over four years. The joint venture plans to carry out an initial stage of exploration to expand mineralization and determine drill targets.
