A Rouyn-Noranda, Que., junior mining company, La Sarre Mining Exploration, was recently listed for trading on the Montreal Exchange (symbol lsa).
La Sarre was incorporated in August, 1986. It has interests in six properties in northwestern Quebec, including the Barraute South and Rochebeaucourt properties (100% interest) and the Launay property (100% interest except for 17 claims on which the company has an option to acquire full ownership).
The company has also acquired options to earn varying interests in three properties — Barraute (50%), La Sarre (50%) and Normetal (25%) — from Normetal Mining Exploration.
