Results from the drilling of the two easternmost sections investigated by a recent program (on the No. 1 zone) at the Granada gold project near Rouyn-Noranda, Que., indicate that the system is open on strike to the east and at depth, KWG Resources (ME) and SEG Exploration (ME) report.
The companies made their announcement after releasing assays from seven more holes. The No 1. zone may continue 1,000 ft. to the east, for a total strike length of 3,000 ft., the companies say. KWG and SEG say additional drilling will attempt to trace the No. 1 zone to the east.
A drilling program on the No. 2 zone is complete and the companies say further drilling is planned to test that zone to the east.
