Drilling by Montreal-based KWG Resources (kwg-t) at its Morne Bossa prospect, south of Cap Haitien in northern Haiti, continues to return encouraging gold values.
Recent highlights include: 37.5 metres (from 10 to 47.5 metres) grading 2.56 grams gold per tonne in hole 1; 34.2 metres (from surface to 34.2 metres) of 2.37 grams in hole 2; and 51.6 metres (from surface to 51.6 metres) of 2.1 grams in hole 3.
The drilling is part of an ongoing campaign designed to confirm and extend the previous work of a United Nations agency, which calculated an oxide resource of 3 million tonnes grading 2.3 grams based on 25-metre drill centres.
KWG is an affiliate of St. Genevieve Resources (sgv-t).
