Questions about the legality of various mineral claims comprising the Cachuyo copper-gold project in southwestern Peru has prompted Kookaburra Resources (TSE) to halt the proposed acquisition until matters are clarified.
Meanwhile, the company is set to begin a program consisting of at least 20 diamond drill holes at its Tacaza copper project in the southeastern part of the country. A geological resource stands at 4.4 million tonnes grading 1.35% copper, based on a 0.5% cutoff.
