Komis gold deposit reinterpreted

At the Komis gold property in Saskachewan’s La Ronge belt, Waddy Lake Resources (TSE) has defined areas along strike and down-plunge that could contain additional minable reserves.

Underground test mining and 7,000 metres of surface drilling enabled the company to reinterpret the property’s geology and structural boundaries.

Permitting is under way and an environmental impact statement will be submitted to the provincial government next month.

In other news, both Waddy Lake and its major shareholder, Golden Rule Resources (TSE), announced their intention to merge. If approved, the restructuring could be concluded by Sept. 30.
