Consulting firm Dynatec Engineering has been hired to carry out a feasibility study on the Komis property of Waddy Lake Resources (TSE) near La Ronge, Sask.
The study will be carried out to determine a minable reserve and to devise an underground exploration program and mining plan.
Based on previous drill data, the company has calculated a new reserve figure for the deposit of 383,836 tons with an uncut, undiluted grade of 0.411 oz. gold per ton. The reserve, contained in five separate zones, was calculated using a conventional cross-sectional method employing a 0.1 oz. cut-off grade. The feasibility study should be completed in 4-6 weeks at an estimated cost of slightly more than $40,000.
