Kokanee explores in B.C.

Kokanee Explorations (VSE) is carrying out an exploration program on its Vine property 16 km from Cranbrook, B.C. Held under option from Cominco (TSE), the Vine property’s geology is considered analogous to that found at Cominco’s Sullivan zinc mine, 47 km away at Kimberley.

Work by Cominco in 1976 led to the discovery of base metal sulphides in a zone striking for 600 metres and to a depth of 50 metres. Exploration work by Kokanee has outlined mineralization in a vein zone more than 10 m wide. The company feels the property has the potential for more than five million tons of reserves.
