Mine operations at the Kingston mine, operated by Nevada Goldfields Corp., continue to improve, the company says. Located in Nevada, the Kingston mine is operating at a rate of 770 tons per day. Mill head grades have averaged 0.193 oz gold per ton during the first month of the company’s new fiscal year. This grade, Nevada says, reflects a mix of low and high grade ore.
The project is currently producing at a rate of 1,000 oz gold per week. New Beginnings Resources holds a 50% net profits interest payable after Nevada recovers $5 million(US) from the project.
At the Aurora project near Salt Lake City, Utah, Nevada Goldfields has let a contract for the construction of a 300-ton-per-day mill. First gold sales from the operation are expected by year-end. The company is also active on the Empire project in Colorado. Approximately 7,800 ft of a 29,000-ft reverse circulation drill program have been completed. Some of the better sections include 14.9 ft grading 0.15 oz gold, 19.8 ft grading 0.26 oz gold and 29.9 ft assaying 0.36 oz gold.
