Kinbauri ups damage claim to $10 million

Ottawa-based junior Kinbauri Gold has increased to $10 million its damage claim against International African Mining Gold (IAMGOLD).

Kinbauri launched the lawsuit in August, 1991, after IAMGOLD, a private Canadian company with mining concessions in western Africa, terminated a planned amalgamation with Kinbauri.

Currently delisted from the Alberta Stock Exchange, Kinbauri hopes to reapply for a listing once the litigation is settled.
