Kewagama sampling vein structure (December 18, 1989)

Channel sampling of the back in this area at 5-ft intervals returned an uncut average grade of 0.28 oz gold per ton over an average width of 5.9 ft along 138 ft. The company says the cut grade along the same distance is 0.19 oz over the same width.

Surface drilling and underground work continue to probe the previously unexplored upper portions of the property to a depth of 600 ft. The company has also started up a deep-drilling program from surface to test areas below the former mine workings.
