Juniors busy in Ontario

Vancouver-based Tres-Or Resources (TRS-V) has added 837 claims to its existing 900-claim package east of Martin River, in the Sudbury region of Ontario.

The properties are believed to be prospective for diamond discoveries, based on sampling programs that revealed indicator-mineral trains suggestive of multiple kimberlite sources. More exploration is planned.

Meanwhile, Pele Mountain Resources (YPN-V) continues to explore its Festival property, near Wawa, Ont. So far, seven diamond-bearing breccia bodies have been discovered on the property, including the newly found Salon and Moet breccias.

Some 19 macrodiamonds (greater than 0.5 mm in one dimension) have been recovered in samples collected from the breccias, along with considerably more microdiamonds.
