John Cooke speaks at CIM

John Cooke, vice-president and publisher of Northern Miner Press Inc., will be guest speaker at a luncheon meeting sponsored by the Canadian Institute of Mining and 0000,0600 Metallurgy Feb. 22. Reception begins at noon in the ballroom of the Royal York Hotel. Cooke’s talk will highlight major discoveries and their impact on Canada’s mining industry over the past 75 years, as documented in the The Northern Miner. The paper itself reflects how individual companies have made the industry what it is today — a world leader.

A full-color special issue of The Northern Miner has just been released to commemorate its 75th year of continuous publication. Each attendant at the meeting will receive a complimentary copy.
