Coincident with next week’s Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada convention in Toronto and as part of its “Breakfast with the Media” professional-development series, CNW Group is holding a panel discussion on March 4 with the theme, “Mining for Opportunity with Business Media.”
This professional development session is designed to give mining industry communications and investor relations professionals a better understanding of business journalism.
The CNW Group describes it as an opportunity to “gain insight into how to get your organization’s story into the news and what business reporters look for when covering a mining business story.”
The panel will be comprised of: John Cumming, editor of The Northern Miner; Alden Bentley, editor-in-charge of commodities for the Americas at Reuters in New York City; and Ellsworth Dickson, editor-in-chief of Resource World Magazine in Vancouver.
The event will be held at 7:30 am in the TSX Broadcast Centre Gallery, located on the ground floor of The Exchange Tower at 130 King Street West in Toronto.
