Inter-Rock Gold (IRO-T) reports that infill and extension drilling on the northern part of the Mother Lode deposit at its Daisy gold mine near Beatty, Nev., may eventually boost the mine’s tonnage and grade.
Highlights from the 9-hole program, which drilled into sulphide mineralization, include: 40 ft. (from 270 to 310 ft.) grading 0.274 oz. gold per ton (9.39 grams per tonne) in hole 442; 25 ft. (from 290 to 315 ft.) of 0.138 oz. (4.73 grams) in hole 443; and 65 ft. (from 170 to 235 ft.) of 0.223 oz. (7.65 grams) in hole 445.
Production in June totalled 2,403 oz. gold, just short of the monthly target of 2,500 oz.
Inter-Rock is continuing its bio-oxidation testwork. A recovery rate exceeding 80% was achieved following 93 days of leaching from a 7-Ton test column of Mother Lode ore.
Operator Inter-Rock holds a 65% interest in Daisy, whereas Rayrock Yellowknife Resources (RAY-T) holds the remainder.
