INSIDER TRADING — SW Gold officers exercise options, sell

Two senior officers of Southwestern Gold (TSE) exercised options and sold shares in June.

According to the Ontario Securities Commission’s OSC Bulletin, director and senior officer Daniel Innes exercised 50,000 options at $7.83 and sold 50,000 shares at $12.38 to hold no shares and 125,000 options.

George Plewes, senior officer and director, exercised 50,000 options at $7.83 and sold 50,000 shares at $12.38 to hold no shares and 125,000 options. Other transactions in May and June include:

Agnico-Eagle Mines (TSE) — Gordon Kirk, director, sold 3,000 shares at $17 to hold 4,730 shares.

Brunswick Mining and Smelting (TSE) — John Carrington, director and senior officer, exercised 7,500 options at $7.16 and sold 7,500 shares at $10.25 to hold no shares and 2,500 options.

Caledonia Mining (TSE) — Warren MacLeod, director and senior officer, was granted 100,000 options at $5.25 to hold 100,000 options.

Comaplex Minerals (TSE) — Murray Pyke, director and senior officer, bought 34,000 shares at $1.20 and was granted 200,000 options at $1.20 to hold 34,000 shares and 200,000 options.

Cusac Industries (TSE) — Guilford Brett, director, bought 2,000 shares at $1.90 and sold 27,300 shares at $1.38-2.15 to hold 438,002 shares. Eden Roc Mineral (TSE) — Kurtz Mjoen, senior officer, exercised 25,000 options at $1.70 and sold 25,000 shares at US$4.11-4.21 to hold no shares. Geomaque Explorations (TSE) — Michael Carter, senior officer, was granted 150,000 options at $1.34 to hold 150,000 options. Robert Whittall, senior officer, was granted 100,000 options at $1.34 to hold 100,000 options. Joutel Resources (TSE) — Roderick Chisholm, senior officer, exercised 100,000 options at 20 cents and sold 5,000 shares at 61 cents to hold 100,000 shares and zero options.

Kinross Gold (TSE) — Arthur Ditto, director and senior officer, exercised 180,000 options at $1.69 to hold 829,620 shares and 270,000 options. Gordon McCreary, senior officer, exercised 25,000 options at $1.40 and sold 25,000 shares at $6.38-6.50 to hold no shares and 50,000 options. Brian Penny, senior officer, exercised 75,000 options and sold 25,000 shares at $6.38-6.62 to hold no shares and 50,000 options.

New Dolly Varden Minerals (VSE) — Raymond Davies, director, was granted 50,000 options at $3.10 to hold 50,000 options.
