INSIDER TRADING — Hemlo Gold senior officers granted stock

Three senior officers of Hemlo Gold Mines (TSE) were granted options in February.

According to the Ontario Securities Commission’s OSC Bulletin, senior officer Ian Atkinson was granted 17,500 options at $11.75 to hold 27,700 options; senior officer Michael Power was granted 17,500 shares at $11.75 to hold 22,000 options; and senior officer Michael Proctor was granted 17,500 shares at $11.75 to hold 37,500 options.

Other transactions include:

Athabaska Gold Resources (TSE) — Edward Kennedy, director, exercised 240,000 options at 28 cents and sold 43,200 shares at $1.08-1.19 to hold 201,223 shares and 441,223 options.

Aurex Resources (VSE) — David Hall, director and senior officer, bought 9,000 shares at 95 cents to hold 78,600 shares.

Bema Gold (TSE) — Robert Angus, director, exercised 100,000 options at 80 cents and sold 94,000 shares at $1.98-2.08, and 6,000 shares at US$1.50 to hold zero shares.

Canmine Resources (ASE) — Eric Plexman, director and senior officer, sold 10,000 shares at $2.70-2.98 to hold 184,001 shares.

Consolidated Ramrod Gold (TSE) — Karl Rollke, director and senior officer, exercised 50,000 options at $5.63, and bought 12,000 shares at $5.63-6.13 to hold 2.5 million shares and 150,000 options.

Fortune Minerals (CDN) — Carl Clouter, director, exercised 25,000 options at 50 cents, and sold 50,000 shares at 75 cents-$1.60, to hold 156,000 shares and 181,000 options.

Great Lakes Minerals (TSE) — John McBride, director and senior officer, bought 12,500 shares at $1.60-1.68 to hold 1.2 million shares. Greenstone Resources (TSE) — Peter Bojtos, director and senior officer, bought 5,400 shares at $1.52-1.60 to hold 27,100 shares.

Kettle River Resources (VSE) — Ellen Clements, director, bought 17,500 shares at $1.14-1.30 to hold 171,870 shares.

Redfern Resources (TSE) — Murray Pyke, director, sold 29,277 shares at $2.21-2.25 to hold 4,000 shares.

Scintilore Explorations (TSE) — Theodore Polisuk, director and senior officer, sold 14,500 shares at 40-41 cents to hold 126,830 shares.
