INSIDER TRADING — Barrick officers sell

Three officers of American Barrick Resources (TSE) sold shares in November and December.

According to the Ontario Securities Commissions OSC Bulletin, senior officer G. C. Wilkins exercised 230,000 options at $7.53, and sold 220,000 shares at $36.00-36.25 to hold 10,000 shares and 500,000 options. President and chief operating officer Robert Smith exercised 100,000 options at $14.25 and sold 100,000 shares at $38.87-39.00 to hold 15,360 shares and 700,000 options.

Senior officer Alan Hill exercised 80,000 options at $7.53 and sold 80,000 shares at $39.44 each to hold 5,680 shares and 100,000 options. Aur Resources (TSE) Peter McCarter, officer and director, exercised 50,000 options at $2.20 each and sold 50,000 shares at $5.00-5.13 to hold 17,615 shares.

Breakwater Resources (TSE) Gordon Bub, officer, was granted four million options at 17 each to hold four million options. Rene Gaupeau, officer, was granted one million options at 17 each to hold one million options. Murray Sinclair, officer, was granted one million options at 17 each to hold one million options.

Global Stone (TSE) David Singleton, officer and director, exercised 40,000 options at $3 each and sold 40,000 shares at $6.38 to hold 15,000 shares. Granduc Mining (TSE) Arthur Brown, officer and director, was granted 60,000 options at $1.20 each to hold 60,000 options. Leslie Creery, officer, bought 15,000 shares at $1.40 and was granted 60,000 options at $1.20 to hold 15,000 shares and 60,000 options. Ralph Noyes, director, was granted 60,000 options at $1.20 to hold 60,000 options.

Imperial Metals (TSE) Peter Geib, director, sold 84,000 shares at 43-50 to hold 3,209,320 shares.

Redfern Resources (TSE) Abraham Aronowicz, officer, sold 600,000 shares at $2 each to hold 253,200 shares.

Spirit Lake Explorations (ME) Kenneth Baird, director, bought 375,000 shares at 40 each and sold 235,000 shares at 51 each to hold 375,000 shares.
