INSIDER TRADING (April 13, 1992)

Thunderwood Resources (TSE) director Leo Thibodeau recently sold a big portion of his stake in the Toronto exploration company.

According to the Ontario Securities Commission’s OSC Bulletin, Thibodeau sold 50,000 shares in February for 65 cents to reduce his direct holdings to 89,400. The stock has since fallen to 40 cents where it trades in a 35 cents-$1.38 range. Thibodeau ran his family’s Windsor trucking company for many years before he helped provide seed financing for Thunderwood’s sister company, Aur Resources (TSE)

Other mining insiders who were active in the stock market recently include: Aber Resources (TSE) director Lee Barker, who sold 80,000 shares for $1.06 to hold 32,000. The shares were held by his wife Judith.

American Barrick Resources (TSE) director Trevor Eyton bought 1,500 shares for $27.38 to hold the same number. Officer Daniel McConvey exercised an option on 10,000 shares at $15.06 before selling all of them for $30.87 to hold no shares and 20,000 options.

Aurizon Mines (TSE) director Frank Lang bought 221,500 shares for 30-33 cents and sold 18,500 for 30 cents to hold 692,785 in Dauntless Developments. He also holds

1.2 million shares directly.

Curragh Resources (TSE) director George Moore bought 5,000 subordinate shares for $3.19 to hold 7,000.

Deak Resources (TSE) vice-president George Archibald and director Douglas Hume exercised an option on 40,000 shares at 42 cents to hold 268,167 and 287,500 shares respectively. Vice-president Douglas Towers sold 248,583 shares for 37-48 cents to hold 802,129.

Goldbelt Resources (VSE) officer and director Mike Muzylowski bought 128,000 shares for 50-79 cents to hold 207,000 in two British Columbia numbered companies.

Noranda (TSE) minerals division Chairman Keith Hendrick sold 18,500 class C preferred shares for $27.03 to hold none.

Teck Corp. (TSE) Chairman Norman Keevil bought 12,000 class A shares for $17.87 to hold 26,500 in MGC Investments and 56,940 directly.
