Inaugural Women in Mining Reception

The Women in Mining (WIM) Network, Toronto Branch, is hosting the inaugural Women in Mining International Reception taking place in collaboration with the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) annual International Convention, Trade Show & Investors Exchange.

The WIM Network of Toronto is a lively, informal group of more than 250 women who work across the entire spectrum of the mining industry. The purpose of the WIM Network is to share knowledge, experiences and relationships that will encourage the growth and diversity of women in the mining sector.

This event will offer an opportunity to meet with industry friends, and enjoy light snacks and refreshments. Proudly supporting women within the mining industry, invited to speak are Patricia Dillon, PDAC President; Karen Poniachik, Chilean Minister of Mining; and Sue Herbert, Deputy Minister of Northern Development and Mines.

Please join the WIM Network, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, South Building on Tuesday, March 4, 2008.

Thank you to our generous contributing sponsors who help make this event happen.
