At the Eagle Mountain gold property in Guyana, geochemical work by Impact Minerals (IPT-V) has outlined an open-ended gold anomaly covering old workings and a known vein occurrence.
The company’s exploration target is disseminated gold mineralization amenable to open-pit mining and/or a higher-grade vein system that could be mined economically from underground.
The geochemical sampling program outlined a gold anomaly 500 metres long and
75-150 metres wide. It remains open at both ends, and ranges in grade from 0.03 to 4.7 grams gold per tonne.
About 60% of the planned grid has been cut, and geological mapping and soil auger sampling are in progress.
