Net income of Imperial Metals rose in the six months ended Sept 30 to $611,000 on revenue of $1.6 million, compared to income of $58,000 on revenue of $1.2 million in 1986.

Income for the second quarter was $639,000 on revenue of $1.1 million, up from $185,000 and $624,000 in the comparative quarter of 1986. The results reflect improved oil and gas revenues, coupled with higher management fees and gains from the sale of investments and securities.
