Dakota Mining (DKT-X) is preparing for an early-June startup at its Illinois Creek gold mine in central Alaska.
The company recently mobilized a construction team to the site and will soon begin thawing out the overliner material and trough in preparation for a leak detection test on the leach pad. Waste removal will follow.
