Recently the International Copper Association elected three member companies at its board of directors’ spring meeting in New York City. They are Escondida Limitada from Chile, Ok Tedi Mining from Papua New Guinea and WMC (Olympic Dam) from Australia.
The 41-member association represents about 66% of the copper mined in the world’s market economies.
