Four more holes have been reported by Huntington Resources (VSE) from its Brett property near Vernon, B.C., the subject of an option agreement with Corona Corp. (TSE).
All of the holes returned encouraging gold values and Huntington says the results “continue to show strong dissemination of gold values in both hangingwall and footwall volcanics for some distance from the main shear zone.”
Hole No RC-88-17 returned 25 ft grading 0.224 oz gold including a narrow intercept of 10 ft averaging 0.47 oz. These values occurred between 55 ft and 80 ft in a vertically- dipping hole 20 ft west of the main shear zone.
A deeper intercept (380-410 ft) yielded 30 ft of 0.34 oz including 20 ft averaging 0.47 oz. This was located in footwall andesite 65 ft east of the main shear zone. Values of 0.16 oz over 5.0 ft, 0.27 oz over 5.0 ft, 0.11 oz across 5.0 ft, and 0.12 oz over 5.0 ft, were reported in three other holes. (These are all large diameter reverse circulation drill holes). Four additional holes remain to be reported.
Diamond drilling is expected to begin later this month on the New Discovery zone which has similar geology.
