Hubert Lake revival slowed

Revival of the mining company Hubert Lake Ungava Nickel Mines is taking longer than expected.

President Lloyd Beatty of Calgary had hoped to have the Quebec cease-trading order on the company lifted towards the end of 1987. However, one of the “ventures” the company is hoping to become involved in is taking more time to arrange than was anticipated, he told The Northern Miner.

Quebec imposed a cease-trading order on the company in May, 1985.
